Agency
Sections
GOHSEP is
divided into seven sections:
Disaster
Recovery- is in
charge of all recovery and mitigation
operations such as public assistance
reimbursement and programs that prevent
damage and loss of life and property in
future disasters.
Executive
- consist of the primary management,
legal and public information assets.
Operations
- is
in charge of coordinating the State's
response to any type of natural or
man-made emergency through the State
Emergency Operations Center, this
section includes all emergency planning.
Preparedness
- is in charge training and exercise
programs, and the State's critical
infrastructure programs.
Regional
Support
- is our liaison between the
State and our emergency management
partners in the Parishes.
Support Services
- is in charge of all financial and
personnel issues for GOHSEP.

support all data & voice
technologies within GOHSEP, to
include mobile communication assets
& Parish EOC support for 700/800
radio & satellite phone
