CERT Train-the-Trainer Course -
This course will be conducted over three days and is designed
for instructors who with a basic understanding of CERT programs.
After completion of the course, attendees will be certified
instructors of CERT and will have the knowledge to conduct the
basic CERT Course. Materials to be covered include basic
management of a CERT course, how to welcome students to
instruction, an overview of each CERT Module, hands on training
of fire equipment, search and rescue techniques, as well as
practical exercises in conducting a classroom training session
and hands on use of equipment. Requirements: Applicants should
have completed CERT training prior to attending this course and
must have the course application approved by the Parish Citizen
Corps Agency Sponsor.
