How to get out

  1. Work out a plan to suit your home
  2. Talk about it with everybody in the house
  3. Practise your escape plan at least every six months

Remember

  1. You need to know two ways to get out of every room if possible
  2. You need to keep keys in deadlocks when home
  3. You need to have an outside meeting place, such as the mailbox or a special tree

When everyone is safe, call the Fire Service

Tell the Fire Department the house number, street, nearest intersection, suburb and city.
