Population Distribution (Resident)
2-Mile Ring --> It was estimated that 855 people resided
in this area in 1985
and that it would grow to approximately 1613 by the year
2030.
10-Mile Ring --> The total 1980 population within the 10 miles of the station
was estimated to be 22,514. This population is projected to
increase to approximately 29,126 by the year 2000 and to a
total of about 42,770 by 2030.
Population Distribution (Resident and Transient,
(peak with seasonal variations))
2-Mile Ring --> The only facility in the low population
zone that attracts a
transient population is the Audubon Lakes Camping Resort
which can attract a maximum of approximately 650 people.
This would increase the total to approximately 1500 people
for the year 1985 and 2260 by the year 2030 (assuming no
growth in the resort).
